Weep Not Child Foundation is a Ghana-based humanitarian home supporting vulnerable children and community members through care, education, mentoring, and empowerment programs. Volunteers join our daily life and help create a safe, joyful, learning environment.

Ways You Can Help
- Reading sessions, homework help, and literacy activities
- Arts, crafts, music, and creative play
- Sports and outdoor games
- Youth mentorship and life-skills talks
- Health & hygiene education (especially for teens)
- Support during programs, events, and outreach days
Volunteer in any way you can. Every effort matters.
Typical Schedule
- Hours: Up to 30 hours per week
- Time: Usually 9:00am – 3:00pm
- Days: Typically 5 days per week
- Days off: Usually 2 days (may reduce to 1 day during major programs/events)
Exact weekly plans are confirmed before arrival so expectations are clear.

- Kitchen access and shared cooking arrangements
- Supportive, family-like environment
- Clear communication before arrival
We plan practical details early so volunteers feel comfortable.
What to Bring (Helpful)
- A kind attitude, patience, and consistency
- Basic teaching aids (optional): storybooks, flashcards, coloring materials
- Any personal items you need for your stay
- If you want to donate: gently used books or clothes in good condition
Donations are optional — presence and service already mean a lot.
Child Safeguarding
Volunteers will have contact with children, so safeguarding is taken seriously. Volunteers agree to follow these rules:
- Children are supervised during activities and engagements
- No direct gifts or money to children without caretaker approval
- Any items/support must be coordinated through caregivers and directors
- Respect boundaries, privacy, and dignity at all times
