Our Story

Comfort Nana Ama Owusu (Nana Ama Benewaa I)

Development Queenmother of Ahwerease-Darmang (Eastern Region) & Kwashiman (Accra) β€” honored for humanitarianism, feminism, and social impact.

Raised in poverty by a single mother of seven, she saw the weight hardship places on a child’s shoulders. She lived the hunger, the uncertainty, and the quiet fear of being left behind.

In 2005, she fell gravely ill. In the silence between breaths, she made a vow to God: β€œIf You restore me, I will dedicate my life to caring for those who are forgotten, just as I once was.”

She recovered. She kept her promise. What began as a church outreach in Nsawam-Adoagyiri grew into a safe home and support network that has touched and transformed over 500 lives.
