Our Projects
Simple actions. Lasting impact.
Education Support
We support children from early education through secondary and tertiary levels. This includes school placement, supplies, mentoring, and encouragement.
Vocational & Skills Training
Practical skills such as catering, bead-making, slipper making, crafts, and entrepreneurship are taught to young people, single mothers, and community members.
Community Literacy Project
We are building a small community library for children and residents. Volunteers can help with reading sessions, tutoring, and donated books.
Health & Hygiene Outreach
Volunteers with health knowledge help lead talks on hygiene, nutrition, adolescent health, and menstrual education for girls.
Widows & Food Outreach Program
The Widows and Food Outreach Program provides practical support to elderly women, widows, and vulnerable households facing economic hardship.
Through community visits, food distribution exercises, and direct engagement with beneficiaries, Weep Not Child Foundation seeks to address immediate needs while promoting dignity, social inclusion, and emotional well-being.
Our recent outreach reached multiple communities where food items, household essentials, and words of encouragement were shared with elderly women and vulnerable families.
This initiative reflects our belief that compassion should extend beyond the orphanage and into the communities we serve.
Classroom Block Construction Project
Weep Not Child Foundation is currently constructing a classroom block to provide children under our care with a safe, modern, and supportive learning environment.
This project forms part of our long-term vision to create a complete educational and skills development centre where vulnerable children can learn, grow, and prepare for the future.
The classroom block will reduce educational costs, improve learning conditions, and create additional opportunities for academic and vocational training within the foundation.
Construction is currently underway, and we continue to seek support from individuals, organizations, and partners who share our commitment to empowering children through education.

Vocational Training Centre Project
We are developing a vocational training centre to equip vulnerable children, young adults, and community members with practical skills for sustainable living.
The centre will support training in barbering, catering, tailoring, information technology, crafts, entrepreneurship, and other hands-on skills. This project is designed to help young people move beyond dependency and gain the confidence to build independent futures.
Our goal is to create a practical learning space where children and youth can discover their talents, develop employable skills, and prepare for meaningful participation in society.
Barbering Skills Training Initiative
As part of our vocational empowerment strategy, Weep Not Child Foundation has established a barbering training facility to provide practical skills training for young people and vulnerable youth.
The initiative gives participants hands-on experience in modern barbering techniques, customer service, grooming, business management, and entrepreneurship.
Through practical training and mentorship, beneficiaries gain employable skills that can create pathways toward self-reliance, income generation, and long-term economic independence.
This project forms part of the Foundation's broader vision of equipping children and young adults with practical skills that complement formal education.
School Support Visits
We encourage children through school visits and support activities. This project strengthens confidence, attendance, and a love for learning.
Clothing & Essentials Drive
Gently used clothes, books, and basic supplies are shared with children and families in need through organized distribution.
Cultural Exchange & Tours
Volunteers can learn Ghanaian culture and, when available, join community or cultural visits. Participation is optional.
