Reaching Hearts, Sheltering Lives
Every gift becomes a warm meal, a safe bed, and the courage to dream again.
Who We Are
Weep Not Child Foundation is a Ghana-based home of love and practical care for vulnerable children. We provide shelter, feeding, education, emotional support, and guidance so that no child faces life’s hardest days alone.
Here, children find family, rediscover joy, and gain the courage to dream again.
Our Impact
- Over 500 lives touched through care and support.
- Daily meals, safe lodging, and emotional care.
- Education support from preschool to tertiary level.
- Skills and small-business help for single mothers and vulnerable women.
Latest Community Impact
At Weep Not Child Foundation, our mission extends beyond the walls of our home. We believe every vulnerable person deserves dignity, care, and hope.
Recently, our team visited three communities to support widows and elderly women with essential items and encouragement. Through this outreach, we spent time listening, sharing, and reminding these women that they are not forgotten.
For more than 20 years, our work has focused on serving vulnerable children, women, and families. Every outreach strengthens our commitment to creating communities where compassion and opportunity can thrive.
Our Founder’s Story
Weep Not Child Foundation was founded in 2005 by Comfort Nana Ama Owusu as a personal mission of faith, compassion, and service.
What began as a commitment to care for vulnerable children has grown into a family-centered home that has impacted hundreds of lives through shelter, education, mentorship, healthcare support, and community outreach.
Her belief has always been simple: every child deserves not only care, but a place to belong, grow, and become their best self.
Current Vision
We are expanding our work through a classroom block and vocational training centre to help children and young people gain practical skills for the future.
- Classroom block construction
- Vocational skills training
- Barbering, catering, tailoring, ICT, and crafts
- Community support for widows and elderly women
